Die-normous Fun!

It's time for another Firecracker Designs blog hop! Today our theme is "Die-normous Fun". I'm sure a lot of you are wondering...What? Die-normous? Well...did you know that not only does Pamela have tons of awesome stamps sets in her store she also has die cuts that perfectly match a lot of her sets. I personally think this is absolutely GENIOUS! As a person who cuts out a lot of images by hand, these die cuts are AWESOME! As you know I like to make a lot of my butterfly images 3-D. These die-cuts make this a breeze! Pamela has a fabulous video showing exactly how to use her die cuts. To view the video click HERE . (If you go check out the video, and I highly reccomend it, make sure to come back and finish the blog hop!)

For my card today I used the butterfly stamp from the set butter/dragonfly. I loved not having to cut out the butterflies by hand!Supplies used: Stamps from Firecracker Designs, SU CS, Bazzill CS, DCWV textured DP, Kaiser pearls, Prismacolor marker, Shimmerz Marigold, Stampin Up border punch, Offray ribbon.

For more DIE-NORMOUS fun make sure you hop on over to Vicki's blog! Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have die-normous fun this weekend!

Just for fun!

For the first time in a long while, I stamped just for fun. No pressure. No requirement. No deadline. Just fun!

The flower image is a Stampendous stamp that I have had FOREVER. And to be totally honest, I don't know that I have ever even used it before. I stamped the flower on the white cs circle and colored it with Prismacolor markers. I stamped it a second time on scratch paper and colored it the same but also painted it with Hottie Pink Shimmerz Blingz. I added Amuse rhinestones and the decorative brad and then layered it over the first image with a foam dimensional.

Here is a close-up of the flower taken at an angle so you can see the shimmery effect the Hottie Pink Blingz adds.Supplies used: Flower stamp from Stampendous, Sentiment stamp from Firecracker Designs, SU CS, Basic Grey DP, Amuse self adhesive rhinestones, brad is from MM (I think), foam dimensionals, Hottie Pink Shimmerz Blingz.

I hope everyone had a great week! Stop by tomorrow for the Firecracker Designs February Blog Hop - it's going to be "die-normous" fun, *wink*!

Shimmery flowers!

I hope everyone is enjoying their week! Today I thought I would share another clean and simple birthday card. I try and practice coloring with my Prismacolor markers a little bit each day... here is one of my practice images I colored last week. I love this flower stamp from DRS Designs. I colored it with Prismacolor markers and then add just a little bit of shine by painting the petals with Shimmerz Angel Wings.
Supplies used: Stamps from DRS Designs, SU CS, SU DP, Hero Arts gems, Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder, Nestibilities.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you all have a fabulous day!

Today I thought I would share all 4 calendar cards I made with the new Clearly Calendar set from Firecracker Designs. I've already showed the first card but I thought I would post it again with the other 3. As I've said before, this set would be awesome for scrapbookers but I thought I would challenge myself to make cards with it. All 4 of my cards are 4 1/4" x 4 1/4".

Jacksonbelle Tuesday Challenge! Let's CASE Kim!

It's time for another fun Jacksonbelle Embellishments Tuesday Challenge! This week our challenge was to CASE our fellow DT member Kim. If you would like to play along and CASE Kim, please use keyword JBE040 when uploading to an online gallery.

Once again, this challenge made me really nervous because Kim's cards are incredible! For some major inspiration take a look at her blog, she has some totally adorable cards on there!

So here is Kim's card:

Once again, I tried to make my CASE as close to her card as possible (crossing my fingers that she likes it)...here is my card:
Supplies used: Prima flowers, Shimmerz Hottie Pink Blingz, Basic Grey Bittersweet designer paper and Basic Grey Bittersweet brads all from Jacksonbelle embellishments, Prismacolor marker, SU CS, and the sentiment stamp is from DRS Designs.

Like the past couple JB challenges, I used 3 of my absolute favorite products from Jacksonbelle...Basic Grey products, Primas and Shimmerz. I LOVE all of these products and Jacksonbelle carries a huge variety of all of them. And speaking of Primas...Jacksonbelle has TONS of brand spankin new Prima products that were just listed yesterday. There are tons of flowers, ribbons, papers and BUTTERFLIES!!!!

For more inspiration, check out the blogs of the rest of the Jacksonbelle rockstars!

It feels like a Monday...

Hope you all had a great weekend. We didn't have any plans over the weekend so we just hung out at home...my favorite kind of weekend. Now, I'm feeling sort of blah today. I guess the high of the relaxing weekend is over and now it is just Monday...the chaotic start to our busy week.

Today I have a a fun, simple birthday card to share. This main image is one of the newly released designs from DRS Designs. I absolutely love this image. The candles and the sentiment together are one stamp but you could definitely use them separately! There are so many possibilities! DRS released a bunch of fantastic new birthday designs this month, check them out HERE.

Supplies used: Stamp from DRS Designs, SU CS, Basic Grey SP, Kaiser self adhesive pearls, SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Prismacolor markers, misc. ribbon, foam dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to stop back tomorrow for another fun Jacksonbelle Embellishments challenge! Tomorrow we are casing another one of our fabulous design team members.
