Try It Out Thursday!

Welcome to this week's SCACD Try It Out Tuesday challenge (on Thursday)! To change things up a bit the design team has split the week up with half of us posting on Tuesday and the other half on Thursday. This week we have a fun sketch challenge for you! For my card, I used the new Elisabeth Bell stamp "Little Suzanne". Isn't she just adorable! I am completely in love with this entire collection. All of the stamps are INCREDIBLE!!! The Elisabeth Bell images are available to purchase individually or you can purchase the entire collection for an incredible discounted price! I stamped "All Grown Up" with Momento Tuxedo Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copic markers.

TIOT: Spring Gift

You all know that I'm not very good with non-card items. I took the cheaters way out with this week's challenge by making a gift tag for some Mother's Day flowers...it's still a gift, right? LOL!



For my card, I used the new Elisabeth Bell stamp "All Grown Up". Isn't she just adorable! I am completely in love with this entire collection. All of the stamps are INCREDIBLE!!! More challenge fun!

I'm on a challenge roll! Today I decided to play along with this week's Pink Elephant challenge which is to add green to your color combo. My color combo also fits in with this week's Try It Out Tuesday again (Pink, Sage and White). I used the sketch layout from Mercy's sketch (MTSC62) from last week (I'm a little late playing along but I really like last week's sketch).



For my card, I inked up another one of my brand new Elisabeth Bell stamps from SCACD. I absolutely LOVE these new Elisabeth Bell images! Today I used "New Friends". Isn't she just the sweetest image ever! You can purchase each of the new Elisabeth Bell images separately or you can buy the entire sheet of 7 stamps for an incredibly deal! I stamped my main image with Momento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copic markers. The image is cut out with my Spellbinders circle Nestibilities...(And speaking of Spellbinders....Susana has the NEW Spellbinders Nestibilities in stock- Her prices are the best around too!). I finished off my card with some self adhesive pearls from Kaisercraft.

Stamping the day away!

I hope you are all having a wonderful Labor Day weekend. We have been hanging out relaxing most of the weekend. As crazy as this may seem, I actually got to spend 8 hours in my stamp room today. I got up this morning, grabbed a Diet Dr. Pepper and hurried off to stamp in my PJ's....next thing I knew it was 3:30. Yikes. Where did the day go? I did manage to get 4 cards made during the 8 hours. I'm a slow crafter. I typically average about 2 hours per card.

For one of my cards today I played along with one of the Taylored Expressions Birthday Bash challenges. The challenge was a color challenge: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo & Crushed Curry
For my card I used an Elisabeth Bell stamp from SCACD. I absolutely love this image. The sentiment is from Verve Stamps.
