Happy Wednesday!
Hope everyone is having a great week! Today I thought I would share one of the cards that I made with my July Firecracker Designs design team set. This month I am playing with Pamela's set "Phrases set 1". For this card I paired it up with one of my favorite sets ever..."She Dreams". I absolute LOVE this dragon. I colored the dragon with Copic markers and then painted areas with Shimmerz Marigold paint. I love the shiny look it gives the dragon.

Can you believe this is our 24th DRS Designs challenge! Wow! We hope you have been enjoying them! We sure have. The DT's challenge this time was to use the dazzling diamond dust technique. This is such a cool technique and really takes no time at all. We would love for you to participate in the challenge. Just post a direct link to your creation in the comment section on the DRS Designs blog and if you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword DRSC24.
Be sure to check out the DRS Designs blog for more inspiration from the DT !

One last thing!!! Be sure to stop by The Pink Elephant Challenge blog starting today thru Sunday, DRS Designs will be sponsoring the current challenge - check out the details at The Pink Elephant on how you might be able to win some DRS Designs stamps!!
*************************Here is my card for this week's challenge. Even though the technique is fairly simple, I struggled with the challenge this week. After several attempts, this was my best Diamond Dust sample:
This technique is really hard to photograph well. I did my best to try and show the diamond dust without totally blinding all of you.I hope you all had a great weekend. Stop by later this morning for my Monday Little Paper Shop Challenge card and check back tomorrow for a fabulous Jacksonbelle Embellishments Tuesday challenge as well as the newest Twinkling Tuesday challenge.

Blog Hop time! FCD Goes Outdoors!
It's time for the June Firecracker Designs blog hop! The theme this month is: FCD Goes Outdoors. Pamela released 4 really cool outdoorsy sets this month that you can check out HERE.
For my card, I used the new set "A Little Bird Told Me..." This set is absolutely GORGEOUS!
Thanks for stopping by today! This is a “circular blog hop” where the beginning is wherever you start!! You will know you are at the end of the blog hop when you’ve come back to the blog you’ve started from! (It’s not a huge circle…so it should be easy to remember where you started.)
There will be blog candy given away to 1 lucky blog hop participant. The winner will be chosen from the comments left on the blog of one of the FCD design team members...but which one? The blog candy hostess is a mystery! We don't even know who the blog candy hostess will be until the hop is over…so make sure you leave a comment on EVERY blog, so you don’t miss out on a chance at the blog candy!
**If you are the blog candy winner, you will be contacted by Pamela via e-mail (so be sure to leave it with your comment.) and you can also find out on Pamela’s blog after the blog hop ends on Tues, June 30th at 8:00 PM (EST).**
Now, to continue the circle, hop on over the the blog of the incredibly talented KARYN,
and keep going until you’ve come back to where you’ve started! Thanks so much for playing along with us and we hope you have a great time!

Life Happens
I hope everyone is having a great week. Unfortunately it definitely hasn't been the greatest week for me. Actually it has been a really stressful week. I apologize to all of you yet again for not getting around to visit your blogs this week. Sadly, I will probably need to just clear out my google reader as I currently have over 400 unread posts in there. I promise to try and stop by your blogs soon! I should have a little more time to try and keep up with things, because starting next week I will once again be a full time stay at home mom. Sometimes life doesn't exactly turn out exactly the way you expect and you have to make decisions that are best for you instead of worrying about everyone else. Yesterday I resigned from my job. It just was not the right fit for me at this point in my life. I am now going to spend the rest of the summer enjoying my precious time with the kids before Annabelle heads off to kindergarten in the fall. No more 4 am wake up calls for me! YAY!!!
Because of all of the chaos in my life this past week I haven't had any stamping time. Luckily I still have a few stash cards to share!
Today I thought I would share another card that I made with the DRS Designs Dustin Pike images. I just LOVE these stamps. They are adorable and a dream to color!
Thanks for stopping by today. Just wanted to remind everyone that Saturday is the June Firecracker Designs blog hop. You won't want to miss it!

Happy Father's Day!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Just wanted to share a couple Father's Day cards that I made last week for the DRS blog.
Tom is out of town and I won't see my dad today so it is a bit of a strange Father's Day around here. The kids and I are going to hang out and maybe go to the zoo if the weather holds up.
Here are my easy Father's Day cards. All stamps used are from DRS Designs.

Paper Makeup Monday Challenge (on Wednesday)
Hope everyone is having a great week. If you are looking for the Shimmerz Birthday Blog Hop post, please scroll down to the previous post.
Since I'm all caught up with my design team work for the month I thought I would take some time this week and do something totally crazy....stamp for fun! LOL. Don't get me wrong, I love all of the stamping time I get, but for the most part I usually spend my stamping time working on design team requirements. This week though, everything is just for fun.
Paper Makeup Stamps has a challenge on their blog every Monday. This week the challenge was to make a project using the colors yellow, aqua, chocolate and white/cream. It just so happens that my latest order from Paper Makeup was delivered on Monday so I had to get them inked up right away. At first I had a hard time trying to tie in the aqua but in the end I absolutely LOVED how my card turned out. I smile every time I look at this adorable guy!
Supplies used: Stamps from Paper Makeup Stamps, SU CS, SU DP, Copic markers, Basic Grey self adhesive pearls.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you are all having a terrific week!

DRS Blog Challenge #23!
Welcome to another DRS Designs Blog challenge...this week the DT was challenged to make a buckle card. You can find a tutorial on how to make these great looking and easy cards HERE on SCS.
We would love for you to play along with the challenge. Post a direct link to your creation in the comment section of the challenge post on the DRS blog so we can check it out! If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword, DRSC23.
Before this challenge, I had never made a buckle card...ever! The tutorial on SCS is really easy to follow. I was a little worried about my card being too simple, but in the end I actually LOVE how it turned out! The flower background is a small stamp that I stamped over and over. I colored the flowers with my Copic and Prismacolor markers and added SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the white flowers. The large red flower is a Prima flower that I folded in half and added a coordinating button. The card is actually really beautiful in real life (the photo just doesn't do it justice).
Supplies used: All stamps are from DRS Designs, SU cardstock, SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter, SU button, Prima flower, Copic and Prismacolor markers, SU word window punch.
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to check out the DRS Designs blog for some more fabulous buckle cards made by the DRS design team.

Exciting News!!
Today I wanted to share some exciting news with all of you. A few weeks back, I got an email asking me if I would be interested in joining the Little Paper Shop design team. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I was. I absolutely LOVE the stamps from Little Paper Shop. They have fabulous designs, wonderful quality clear stamps and tremendous customer service. It took me about 2 seconds to accept the invitation! I am thrilled and honored to be joining such a talented team of stampers!
Little Paper Shop is releasing two super-cute sets this month! Both sets will be released THIS Tuesday, June 16th and will be on sale for 10% off beginning on release day. This sale will last one week or while supplies last, so be sure to grab your new stamps while they're HOT!
Our first preview is one "sweet" set, {Katie Cupcake}. Isn't she just the cutest! For my card I colored the image twice. I cut out one Katie and one bow and popped them up on the other image with dimensionals. I glittered the cupcake with chunky glitter to give it the look of sugar.

Be sure to head on over to the LPS Blog to check out the rest of the DT's adorable previews!
Last but not least, want to WIN this set? All you have to do is leave a comment over on the LPS blog and one lucky winner will be chosen via Random.org...good luck and have a "Sweet" Day!
