SPAM comments?
Is anyone else having problems with an unusually high number of SPAM comments lately? I have been getting several per day and was just curious if anyone else was. I would hate to have to add the word verification back but I may have to if this doesn't end.

I've been noticing that, too, Heather! I used to never get any, but now seem to get a few per week. I don't want to add word ver back either, but like you, I may if this continues.
me too! They seem to be appearing on past posts...I use comment moderation so they don't get on my blog but, yea, I noticed them because I had never rec'd any before!

Yep, me three! They've been appearing on my older posts. I've added comment moderation for posts over 14 days old & this has seemed to help. Good Luck
yes, and I was just going to suggest what Jennifer did. I have enabled comment moderation for posts 14 days and older and that seems to give me the option to reject them adequately. Good luck! Stupid peeps!!!
I have been blogging for 4 years and have NEVER had any and the other day I got 2 weird ones: one was anonymous and weird comment (not mean or ugly) and then I got one that was an advertisement: both on the same day.
