DRS Designs Release Day!!!!!!!!

I don't think I have ever been so excited about a DRS Designs release day as I am today. Today's release is FANTASTIC. I love every single stamp being released this month!!!! There are 6 adorable Cutie Pie Kids stamps being released as well as a bunch of other adorable Easter stamps and some new sympathy stamps. I LOVE them all (and I think you will too!!). Check out the DRS Designs web site to see the entire collection of new releases!

Today I have another Cutie Pie Kid card to share with you. I love this card. I don't say that often about my cards but I really really love this card. Now with that said, let me tell you that this was a 3 1/2 hour card. Yep, 3 1/2 hours! Now how could such a simple card take 3 1/2 hours. Well....that isn't designer paper in the background. Using my handy dandy STAMP-A-MA-JIG....I made the background using portions of 2 different DRS Designs stamps:

Using the star in the bottom left corner of the "Interlocking Star Background" and the "USA" from the "USA-Thanks To Our Brave" stamp I made the background paper. I colored the USA with my Prismacolor markers and added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the stars. The Cutie Pie girl is also colored with Prismacolor markers. Isn't she just absolutely adorable. I can't stop gushing about these new stamps because I just absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!!!!!!
The glitter is really hard to see in the picture but it looks fabulous in real life! The picture also makes the cardstock base look black but it is actually Night of Navy.
Supplies used: Stamps from DRS Designs, SU CS, SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Prismacolor markers, foam dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

DRS Sneak Peek!

Tomorrow is a HUGE release day at DRS Designs. You definitely won't want to miss this one! DRS Designs is releasing some of the cutest kid stamps I have EVER EVER seen. These cutie pie kids are absolutely adorable. There are 6 new kid stamps being released tomorrow.
My card today uses one of the new cute little boy stamps. I LOVE this stamp. I smile every time I look at these adorable kids! For my card I stamped the image twice on white cardstock. I colored both images with Prismacolor markers and then I cut one of the boys out and layered him over the other with foam dimensionals. The dp is from the newly released Basic Grey line: Marrakech. I added a few Dress it up glitter dots to finish it off. Don't you think he is just adorable.
Supplies used: Stamps from DRS Designs, SU CS, Basic Grey DP, Dress it up glitter dots, Prismacolor markers, foam dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by today. Tomorrow I will share another card made with another one of these adorable cutie pie kids! I hope you all have a fabulous day!

Jacksonbelle Tuesday Challenge! Prima!

This week the Jacksonbelle challenge is to use any product/s from Prima. If you want to play along with this week's challenge please use keyword JBE042 when uploading to PCP or SCS.

For my card this week I used a sketch challenge given by Heather from Heather's Heavinly Stampations. The sketch was made by her daughter Piper. Here is Piper's sketch:

For my card I used the new Monarch stamp from Inkadinkado. My Prima product comes in the form of "Say It In Crystals". I cut one of the flower crystals apart and used them in the corners of my card. The main image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and markers and then painted with Shimmerz Marigold.
Here is a better look at the Shimmerz on the main image. Supplies used: Monarch stamp from Inkadinkado, Basic Grey Ambrosia DP, Shimmerz Marigold, Prima Say it in Crystals all from Jacksonbelle Embellishments. I also used SU CS, Prismacolor pencils and markers, foam dimensionals, nestibilities, self adhesive pearls, SU Noteworthy, and SU grosgain ribbon.
