Fall Flowers

The Firecracker Designs stamp set that I picked to create with this month is called Fall Flowers. This is my absolute FAVORITE stamp set from Firecracker Designs. These flowers are just beautiful and so easy to work with. If you are interested in it, it is on sale right now for only $7.99!

Here are some cards I've made with this set (a few of them I have shared already but I wanted to post the entire collection together to give you an idea of the versatility of this set)

DRS Blog Challenge #6 - SENTIMENTS

I'm back in the blogging groove!!! Tom's flight came in yesterday afternoon and all normalcy has now been restored here...no more sleeping with all the lights on in the house! Another good thing...a camera! I was finally able to take a picture of the card I made for Monday's DRS blog challenge. Oh and I also forgot to mention in my post on Monday that we would love for you play along with our challenge. You do not need to use DRS stamps to play along, although we would love it if you did! If you choose to play please use the keyword "DRSC6" when you upload to SCS. You can also just leave a direct link here or on the DRS blog to your creation!
So here is the card that I made for Monday's challenge but couldn't post due to not having a camera. I took the pictures from 2 different angles because the shimmerz paint really makes it hard to photo. The first photo is taken in non-direct sunlight and the 2nd, well...direct, LOL. I don't think the pictures due it justice as it is just beautiful in real life.
Supplies used: Stamps from DRS Designs, SU CS, Shimmerz paint, SU ribbon, Michael's ribbon, Amuse self adhesive rhinestones, foam dimensionals.

I hope you all have a wonderful day! I'm hoping to get lots of time in my stamp room today! Thanks for stopping by!

I just remembered...

I have something I can share, yay! Here is a card I made on World Card Making Day. I made this card for one of the SCS WCMD challenges...trees! The challenge was perfect since I had just gotten my Funky Trees set from QKD.

Supplies used: Stamps from QKD, SU CS and DP, Versamagic chalk ink, Shimmerz paint, self adhesive rhinestones, foam dimensionals.

I hope you all had a great day! My camera (I mean, husband) will be home tomorrow so I will be back in the blogging groove soon! Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great day!

Unfortunately I don't have any projects to share due to my lack of a camera, but the good news is Tom's flight plans were changed and he is coming home tomorrow afternoon! Pending no flight delays I will be able to start sharing again tomorrow evening! Can't wait to have my camera back (and my dh, LOL). I hope you all have a great day!

DRS Challenge #6 - The SENTIMENT challenge!

It is that time again...DRS Designs Blog Challenge #6!
Since DRS Designs is known for all their great sentiments, our challenge this time is to use a sentiment as your focal point.

To be totally honest we have had so much going on around our house during the past week or so that I totally forgot about putting together a card for this weeks challenge. I was sitting in my stamp room last night around 6 o'clock and all of a sudden it hit me...I needed a card for the DRS Blog Challenge...YIKES! I pulled out some stamps and went to work. It took me almost 2 hours but I finished my card and I love it. Only one problem....Tom is out of town on business in NJ and he took our camera with him. He had some free time and was planning on taking in all the tourist attractions in NYC and wanted to take the camera. Good for him...Bad for me. I am without a camera until Thursday (or longer if his trip gets extended). Thankfully I have a card that I made a couple months ago that fits this challenge perfectly:

Supplies used: DRS Designs stamps: F986 and F1004, Cuttlebug Snow Dots embossing folder,
SU Cardstock, Shimmerz paint – Angel Wings, Green Olive, Sheer Creations Ribbon
Stampin Up! grograin ribbon, Self adhesive pearls by Mark Richards, Stampin Up! Always Artichoke classic ink, OMS (gamsol), Prismacolor colored pencil

Be sure to check out the DRS Designs blog to see what the rest of the design team created for this challenge!

I have lots of projects to share this week but no way to photograph them. Hopefully I can find a few photos of things I haven't shared yet, otherwise it will be a couple days before I have some fresh photos. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
