Enjoy the weekend!

It looks like it is going to be a great weekend around here! The house is clean and I finally get some time tonight (without the kids) to stamp! I haven't had much stamping time in days and I am so excited about tonight. My friend Jen is coming over and we are going to stamp the night away!

Today I have another simple but elegant card to share. I made this card with a wedding in mind but I guess it could be used for other occasions too. The sentiment stamp is from DRS Designs.
For wedding cards I tend to try and only use black and white for some reason, personal preference I guess. I just think these colors make a card look so elegant. I also love to add some bling or shimmer...for this card I used both. I added some self adhesive rhinestones to the corners and to finish it off I painted a white Prima flower with Angel Wings Shimmerz. Angel Wings is my absolute favorite color of Shimmerz because you can use it on any color flower or cardstock and it looks just beautiful.

Busy busy busy

Sorry for the short posts lately, but things are just crazy busy around here. I'm stealing one of the last cards from my stash to share today. I made this card a month or so ago for one of the Paper Makeup Stamps challenges. I absolutely love the Dustin Pike dinos that are sold at Paper Makeup Stamps. Golf birthday

Hope everyone is having a great week! Life has been crazy busy for us lately. I'm still behind in visiting your blogs and once again I apologize. I promise, one of these days I will get caught up!

Today I wanted to share a fun birthday card I made a while back. DRS Designs has a ton of really fun golf stamps great for all of those golf lovers in our lives.

As crazy as this is for me to say....I made a NO STAMPING card for this week's challenge! There is absolutely zero stamping on this card. The sentiment panel comes from a piece from the Cosmo Cricket Fleuriste designer paper pack. Even though there were no stamps used, I did use a ton of fabulous products from Jacksonbelle Embellishments...Cosmo Cricket designer paper (ALL Cosmo Cricket is 25% off this week at JB), Prima flowers, Prima Say it in Crystals, Cuttlebug embossing folder , May Arts ribbon and Shimmerz paint!
