Just wanted to let you know that I will hopefully be posting the winner of my blog candy either later tonight or tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.

I was contacted by one of my fellow Shimmerz and Madelynn''s Twinkling Tuesdays design team members Jami Bova. Jami is a super talented stamper as well as a fabulous stamp designer. Check out her blog HERE. Jami has generously donated 4 stamp sets that she designed to add to my Cystic Fibrosis Blog Candy for a Great Cause. You can find Jami's stamp sets at 2 Red Bananas. The stamp sets that will be added to the blog candy package are :
- Value of Joy
- Gunther's Greetings
- Wrapped in His Love

These are some SERIOUSLY CUTE stamp sets. Wish I could throw my name in the blog candy pot, lol! Here are the stamp sets:
Here is a recap of the original blog candy post:
This month my blog candy is going to be a little different...This month I have a challenge for all of you. My good friend Chava (who I've known for 30 years - yikes, does that make me feel old!) has a 18 month old son Alex. Shortly after Alex was born he was diagnosed with having Cystic Fibrosis. For those of you unfamiliar with CF here is a brief description:
Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that:
- clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections; and
- obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food.
I'd love to help Chava reach her fundraising goal. I have already donated to her walk but would like to try and help out a little more. I am offering a chance at some fun blog candy to anyone who donates. There is no minimum donation. You can donate $1 or more. All you need to do for a chance at the blog candy is go to Chava's CF donation site HERE to place a secure donation (don't worry if your name doesn't show up on her donation list instantly, I've noticed that in some cases it takes several hours). After you donate, leave a comment on this post. If you prefer to donate by check instead of credit card you can mail a check made out to "Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF)" to Chava. Her address is: Chava Pocernich 514 NW Cindy Ln Ankeny, IA 50023. You DO NOT need to tell me how much you donated. I just appreciate any help you can give! I'm keeping this blog candy open a little longer than normal in hopes of helping her raise as much money as possible...I will pick a blog candy winner on Friday April 17th. Please help spread the word!! I'd love for any of you to mention my post on your blogs, the more exposure the better.
Now for the blog candy...This blog candy package is valued at over $80. The package includes:
Gina K Heartfelt Hits 1 stamp set,
Clear Artistic Stamps "I'm Just Saying" stamp set,
Autumn Leaves "Winter Holidays" stamp set,
Autumn Leaves "Mini Leaves" stamp set,
ki Memories "Greetings" stamp set,
ki Memories "Patterns" stamp set,
Firecracker Designs by Pamela Season's Greetings stamp set mounted on cling foam,
DRS Designs "Santa with Reindeer" stamp mounted on cling,
Studio G "February" stamp set,
Studio G "March" stamp set ,
Art Gone Wild "Tie Frame" rocker stamp,
Amuse Elzybells "Shopaholic" stamp
and
Cuttlebug "Argyle" embossing folder.
+ the Jami's 4 gorgeous stamp sets!!!
If you donate (any amount), your name will be put into the drawing for the entire blog candy package. When you donate please come back and leave a comment on my original blog candy post HERE (you can also post it on this post, I will check both before doing the drawing). If you have any problems with the link to Chava's site please let me know. It has worked for me but Jami had a problem with it. You can also go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's site and click on their Great Strides Walk info link. You can do a search for walker: Chava Pocernich and that should take you to her page also. You do not have to tell me how much you donated. Just let me know that you did.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a fabulous day

It's Thursday! YAY!
Thursday is my absolute favorite day of the week. The kids don't have preschool, I don't have to go to work, nothing...I call it our "Not Leaving the House Day". Most Thursdays I don't even get out of my pjs, lol. Tom hates that I let the kids stay in pjs but honestly I think you need to have one day of the week where you can just hang out and relax! Beckett was so excited this morning because we could keep our pjs on. Unfortunately I do have some housework that needs to get done but hopefully in a couple hours I can retire to the basement for some much needed stamping time!
Today I thought I would share one of the cards I made for the most recent DRS Designs release. The sentiment I used is one of the newly released designs. It goes perfect with this adorable bee! For the background I inked up some bubble wrap and attempted a honeycomb look. The bee wings are painted with Shimmerz Pixie Dust Blingz.
Supplies used: Stamps from DRS Designs, SU CS/ink, May Arts ribbon, Prismacolor markers, Shimmerz Blingz, bubble wrap, SU slot punch, foam dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by today. Reminder that tomorrow is the last day to donate for my CF Foundation fundraising blog candy! I will post the grand prize winner on Saturday. I am so blessed to have so many generous blog readers. Chava has passed her $500 fundraising goal! Thank you to all of you for helping make a difference. As an extra thank you along with the grand prize drawing I am going to draw names of 5 others who donated and will be sending a little something your way also. Be on the lookout for the winners on Saturday!
Oh and speaking of blog candy....my fellow DRS and FCD DT member Vicki has some absolutely AWESOME blog candy right now. Check out her blog HERE for all the deets! Hope you all have a fabulous day!

Club Anya Blog Hop!!!!
I'm so excited it is finally time for the Club Anya blog hop! For the full list of 60+ participants check out the Club Anya Blog!
There is also going to be some fun chatting going on over on the PCP Club Anya group. Come hang out and have some fun!
One of the challenges posted for the blog hop was "a change will do ya good", so I decided to change Skater Ian into.... Skater Anya! This was a pretty easy morph just by adding some long hair and eyelashes to Skater Ian. I couldn't decide what color hair to make my Skater Anya so I made 2 different cards. I decided to go with a simple layout for these because I'm pretty sure any skater girl out there would cringe at a frilly girly card. I printed the sentiments from the computer. I struggled with these because the marker I used for the hand drawn bangs kept bleeding when I was coloring the faces. I think these two images were my 6th and 7th tries. In the end though, I was pretty happy with how these turned out despite some color bleeding.
Thanks for stopping by! Make sure you check out the blogs of the rest of the blog hop participants!

Paper Makeup Stamps Ribbon Challenge
The challenge on the Paper Makeup Stamps blog this week is "All Tied Up". You just have to make a card with ribbon on it. This was an easy one for me since I LOVE ribbon. For my card I used the Paper Makeup sentiment stamp "What Lies Behind Us". This stamp actually comes in 2 different sizes and is available as plain rubber or on ez mount cushion. PMS has a ton of great sentiment/quote stamps. I also used my new Labels 4 Nestibilities that I also got with my latest order from Paper Makeup.
Supplies used: Stamp from PMS, SU CS, Basic Grey DP, Prima, Basic Grey brad, foam dimensionals, EK success photo corner punch, misc. ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by today. Stop back tonight for the Club Anya blog hop! All of the fun starts at 7 pm CST.

Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday Challenge #18
This is my 2nd post for today. Please scroll down to my previous post to see my Jacksonbelle Embellishments Tuesday Challenge card for today.
It is time for another installment of Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday Challenge. This week Madelynn challenged us with another great sketch.
For those of you who know me well, you know I am the total nerd who tries to stay weeks ahead of any design team deadlines. I am not a "night before" card maker....until now. Our weekend was packed full of family time and I didn't find enough stamping time to get this card done ahead of time so I sat down late yesterday afternoon to work on this. Luckily for me I just got a huge envelope of DRS Designs stamps in the mail yesterday and in it were these adorable pig images with the coordinating sentiment. I thought they would work great with Madelynn's sketch.
For more inspiration check out the blogs of the other fabulous MTT design team members:

Here is her sketch:
For sketch challenges I usually try to follow the sketch as closely as possible. For this one however, I just couldn't get those 3 little embellishments to work in the top left corner. Instead I just added a brad to each corner. For those of you who know me well, you know I am the total nerd who tries to stay weeks ahead of any design team deadlines. Jacksonbelle Tuesday Challenge! It's Sketch Time!
Where does the time go? I can't believe it is already the middle of April. I also can't believe it is already time for another Jacksonbelle Tuesday challenge. I feel like I just posted last weeks white on white card and now it is time for another. This week we have a sketch challenge. If you would like to play along with us please use keyword JBE049 when you upload to PCP or SCS (I know the sketch picture says JBE046 but it really should be JBE049).

Happy Monday Morning!
Hope everyone had a great weekend. I'm actually sad that the weekend is over. The weather was so nice here and we had a nice low key weekend.
First of all today, I want to share some great news...Katie Cotton from Paper Makeup Stamps has generously added to my CF fundraising blog candy. To see the new additions check out the blog candy sticky post at the top of my blog! Thanks SO much Katie!
Now for a project today...This is a card I made using the newly released "Shelldon the Turtle" stamp from DRS Designs. Isn't he just the cutest thing ever.
Annabelle loves this turtle and even made her own card. I swear at 5 years old she colors better than I do. Unfortunately Crayolas are now not good enough for her. She wants to use my Prismacolor and Copic markers because her markers don't have the right color of pink..and green...and blue...etc. I have given in and let her use the large collection of Bic and Sharpie permanent markers that I have and even a few Prismas but the Copics are off limits. She even uses the nestibilities all on her own. I find her down in my stamp room cutting her images out in different shapes all the time. I love how she added the green to the edges of the pinking circle. I'm so lucky to have been blessed with a crafty little girl!
I hope you all have a wonderful day! Tomorrow I have a bunch of things to share...the JB Tuesday challenge and the MTT challenge. There will be so many fun things going on you won't want to miss them!
