If you have any questions please feel free to ask me or contact Stacey or Kim (the dt coordinator) through the Shimmerz blog.

Thanks for stopping by today. It is FREEZING cold here today. Current conditions say -14 with a windchill of -30. YUCK! I hate cold weather! Every school around is closed! Unfortunately the kids have haircut appointments later this morning. I would cancel but it is so hard to get in with their stylist. Hopefully after that I will get lots of stamping time in this afternoon! Hope you all have a warm and cozy day!

DRS is sponsoring the sketch challenge at CPS this week!

This week's sketch challenge at Card Positioning Systems is being sponsored by DRS Designs.

If you decide to play along with the sketch challenge be sure to post a link on the CPS blog as they will be giving away some blog candy from DRS Designs! Here is the sketch:Here is my card:
Supplies used: Stamps from DRS Designs, SU CS, Basic Grey DP, Daisy D's rub on stitches, self adhesive rhinestones, foam dimensionals, glitter, Dress it up glitter dots.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you are all having a fabulous week!

Pink Papery Studios Altered Challenge!

This week the Pink Papery Studios DT was given the challenge of creating an altered item. To be totally honest I suck at altered items but I did my best to come up with something presentable. This was even more of a challenge considering whatever illness I have has sucked the life out of me. My energy level is in the negative the past couple days.
If you aren't familiar with Pink Papery Studios, they offer a ton of cute stamps and you can purchase them either as a stamp set or as a digi set. The digi sets are less expensive and very versatile. You can resize the images to whatever size you need. Very convenient.
Here is my altered 7x10 inch spiral scrapbook:Thanks for stoppy by today. I hop you are all having a wonderful day!

New Blingz!!

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, Shimmerz Paints has just released 4 brand new lovely colors of Blingz! The new colors are: Flashee Fuchsia, Hottie Pink, Hi-Ho Silver and Pixie Dust. These colors are PERFECT for your Valentine's Day creations or any other fun spring project you make. I aboslutely LOVE the new Pixie Dust Blingz! For my card I painted the cat and the open hearts with Pixie Dust Blingz. I also used Hottie Pink to paint the cat's nose and ears. I am so in love with these new colors!Card details: Stamps from DRS Designs, SU CS, CM cutting system, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder, Martha Stewart border punch, foam dimensionals, misc ribbon.

First DRS Designs blog challenge of 2009!!

It's a new year and a new set of challenges!! Today the design team was presented with a challenge to use any of the DRS Designs ribbon slides as their focal image on their project.

We would love for you to play along with us and if you do, you just might win a prize!! On Sunday, January 25, DRS Designs will draw one random name from all the projects linked to the official challenge post on the DRS Designs blog (HERE). Now, you don't have to use DRS images if you don't have them yet...we know you will soon and you can use them for later challenges! If you don't have any DRS ribbon slides you can use any other kind of ribbon slide or even turn an existing image into a ribbon slide as long as you use it as your focal point. If you don't use DRS images and your name is chosen you will receive a selection of ribbon slides of your very own! If you DO use DRS images and your name is chosen, you will receive an even bigger selection of slides!!

If you would like to play along, just make sure to comment on the DRS Designs blog (HERE) with a direct link to your creation so we can come check it out! If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword DRSC12.

Can't wait to see how you inspire us!

Here is the card I made using the star ribbon slide:

Check out the DRS Designs blog to see all of the wonderful cards made by the rest of the design team!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you are all having a fabulous day! Stop by tomorrow for another fun Jacksonbelle Embellishments challenge!

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Tonight I thought I would share another card that I made in December when I went to Scrap Mania at Archiver's with my sister.
