This is it...

my very last project that I have made. If my mojo never returns then I guess this is my last post... I'm hoping that isn't the case, though. I am going to spend some time in my stamp room today...crossing my fingers that maybe my mojo is just hiding under a container of Blingz and when I clean up my stamp table today, I find it, LOL.
Thanks for listening to my whining and all of the support everyone has given! Wish me luck today!

Here is a scrapbook page that I made. I was doing this for a challenge that required the use of a bottlecap, bubbewrap and a specific circle background stamp from Stamping Bella. I have to say that it was definitey a challenge since I wasn't particularly fond of any of the 3 elements. I did my best and did manage to use all 3 (the red bull's eye flower centers are a portion of the background stamp that I cut out with a circle punch, the bottlecap is the large blue flower's center and I inked up bubblewrap and stamped it as a background on the blue cs)
The shimmery flowers are white Primas that I painted with Gold Glimmerz Blingz that I got from Jacksonbelle Embellishments. OMG, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new Blingz! I can't wait for them to come out in more colors! For more info on them check out the Shimmerz blog HERE!
I included a couple close-up photos of the flowers. It is hard to catch their real beauty in a photo...they are GORGEOUS in real life. I was just thrilled with how they turned out! I also painted the chipboard letters for the word BEST with the Gold Blingz...they are GORGEOUS!
Supplies used: Stamps from Stamping Bella and Autumn Leaves, Bazzill CS, SU CS, Prima flowers, SU Build a Brad, Dress It Up glitter dots, Hero Arts self adhesive rhinestones, Botttlecap, Daisy D rub-on, bubblewrap, cuttlebug alphabet dies, Shimmerz Gold Glimmerz Blingz.

We are having an early Thanksgiving with Tom's family on Saturday (which I'm not looking forward to) and it is also the annual One of A Kind rubber stamp expo here in town this weekend (which I have been looking forward to all year!). I plan on trying to hit the expo for a hour or so before Tom's family comes on Saturday and then do some real shopping at the expo on Sunday. I'm so glad I ordered my ticket early and got the 2 day pass!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I hope I have something new to share soon!

For my hour of the blog hop I have a color challenge for all of you...

Follow Your Rainbow!

My 5 year old daughter loves rainbows! Every day she draws me pictures with rainbows or writes her name in rainbow colors. For my challenge you need to make a card or scrapbook layout that has red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple on it! If you decide to play along with this challenge, please post a link to your creation on this post. You have until 10 am tomorrow morning to post your link. Anyone who participates in any of the QKD blog hop challenges will have their names put into a grand prize drawing for some goodies from Queen Kat herself! The more challenges you do the more chances you have to win. You do not have to use QKD stamps for the challenge but you will get an extra entry in the drawing if you do! Have fun!

Here is my card:
Supplies used: Stamp from QKD, SU CS, DCWV DP, SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Dress it Up Gitter Dots, Nestibilities, alcohol based markers.

Lost Mojo

I'm not sure what my problem is but my mojo is gone and I've looked everywhere for it. Up until yesterday, the last day I sat down and actually stamped was Nov 3rd. Yesterday I decided to try and overcome this depressed, lost mojo feeling and didn't work. I sat in my stamp room for over 7 hours. Yes, I said it over 7 hours. Tom watched the kids for most of the time and I had peaceful stamping time. Unfortunately after 6 hours I had absolutely NOTHING to show for it. I was trying to make some calendar Christmas gifts and they just weren't working. After 6 hours I gave up... I cleaned up my table and threw about 30 pieces of cut up cardstock in the recycling bin. I sat there and almost cried. I managed in the next hour and a half to make 1 card using Beate's weekend sketch but in the end 7 1/2 hours of stamp room time = 1 card. I just can't figure it out if it is the weather or the daylight thing or just me getting older...I truely hope my mojo finds its way home soon because I'm running out of previously made projects to share.
Sorry to be such a downer!

Speaking of previously made projects, I do have a few more things to share this week. Wednesday is the big QKD birthday celebration! There will be a blog hop with challenges and prizes. QKD is also featured on the Stamp Something, Sheet Loads of Cards and 2 Sketches 4 You challenge blogs this week. Make sure to check them out for a chance at winning some fabulous prizes. Today 2 Sketches 4 You will be highlighting these two QKD sketches. If you decide to play along, make sure you post a link to your creation on the 2 Sketches 4 You blog!
ETA: Apparently 2 Sketches 4 You didn't use the 2 sketches that we were given by QKD...if you want to participate in the 2 Sketches 4 You QKD prize drawing please go to their blog and use the 2 sketches provided there, not the 2 sketches I'm showing you here.
