Preview Fun at Little Paper Shop!
Hello friends! Welcome to the first day of sneak peeks for the Little Paper Shop April release. We have a lot going on over the next few days as we are also celebrating Little Paper Shop's two year anniversary this month. Woohoo!! It has been a terrific two years for Little Paper Shop and we are so happy to be celebrating our anniversary with you. We are going to be having lots of fun stuff going on so make sure and tune in each day through Tuesday (release day). Each day we will have a blog hop with a chance to win a Little Paper Shop $10 Gift Certificate. We KNOW that everyone out there loves winning new stamps, right? Because it is our 2-Year Birthday Celebration, we will also be doing something special this month on Release Day...One lucky person who participates in a special Birthday Challenge on Tuesday April 20th will win a $35 Gift Certificate to the LPS store. More details on that challenge as we draw closer to Release Day.
Today we are going to preview a set for you called BEHIND THE SCENES. This is a background set with 3 large stamps in it for making your own backgrounds or maybe just for spotlighting a certain piece of paper. The DT has a ton of fabulous creations to share with you today! Now how do you win that $10 Gift Certificate to the store today? Easy... Leave a comment on each DT member's blog. Every person that leaves a comment on ALL of the DT members blogs will be entered in to the random drawing to win that $10 Gift Certificate.
You should be arriving here from Silvia's blog. If not then please start back at the Little Paper Shop blog to make sure you don't miss any blogs along the way.
For my card I paired one of the new Behind the Scenes background stamps with the gorgeous Christmas Wishes set.

BLOG CANDY WINNER!!!!
Before I announce the winner of my blog candy for a great cause, I want to thank every single one of you who donated. Chava is well on her way to making her goal thanks to all of you!
This is my 3rd year in a row doing this and I honestly get overwhelmed with emotion when I think about all of you donating. Some of you who donated are good friends of mine who I have known for years and others are literally strangers whom I've never met but have found it in the goodness of your hearts to donate. You are all incredible!!! It makes me feel so good to "know" so many kind and giving people.
I also want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Pamela from Firecracker Designs by Pamela, Summer from Belles 'n Whistles, Susana from SCACD, Lynda Benden and Carolyn Bounds. All of these awesome ladies donated some of the fabulous goodies in this blog candy prize package!
I wish I could give the grand prize package to every single one of you but unfortunately I can't. The good news for you is though... You are all winners!!! I have put some fabulous goodie packages together for every single one of you!!!! So if you don't win the grand prize you still have some fun goodies coming your way. And speaking of that I would like every single one of you who donated to send me your mailing address so I can send you some goodies. Please email me at thlr2003 @ gmail.com with your mailing address. (I just ordered some goodies today for these so they may not ship out until next week when the goodies arrive, just to let you know).
And without further ado...
We printed and cut apart the names of everyone who donated and literally threw them in a hat (a big straw hat at that)
We shook them up and then, a just out of bed, but still tired 5 year old boy reached in and picked a lucky winner... (he also wanted to know if he got a prize, LOL)
And the lucky winner....

Hello friends and family! It is time for my 3rd annual BLOG CANDY FOR A GREAT CAUSE giveaway! Before I get into the details of the blog candy I wanted to give you a little bit of background information:
My good friend Chava (who I've known for over 30 years - YIKES, I can't believe how old I am getting) has a 2 1/2 year old son, Alex. Shortly after Alex was born he was diagnosed with having Cystic Fibrosis. For those of you unfamiliar with CF here is a brief description:
Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that: clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections; and obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food.
I'd love to help Chava reach her fundraising goal. I have already donated to her walk but would like to try and help out a little more. I am offering a chance at some REALLY AWESOME blog candy to anyone who donates. You can donate $1 or more. (FOR THOSE LIVING IN THE UNITED STATES - YOUR DONATION IS TAX DEDUCTIBLE). All you need to do for a chance at the blog candy is go to Chava's CF donation site HERE and place a secure donation (don't worry if your name doesn't show up on her donation list instantly, I've noticed that in some cases it takes several hours). If you would prefer to send a check instead of donating online you can mail a check made out to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) to Chava. Her address is: Chava Pocernich 514 NW Cindy Ln Ankeny, IA 50023. After you donate (either online or by mail), leave a comment on this post. You DO NOT need to tell me how much you donated. I just appreciate any help you can give! I'm keeping this blog candy open until Thursday April 15th at midnight CST, in hopes of helping her raise as much money as possible...I will pick a blog candy winner on Friday April 16th. Please help spread the word!! I'd love for any of you to mention my post on your blogs, the more exposure the better.

A Prettie Wednesday Challenge and Blog Hop!
It's Wednesday! That means it is time for another fun Wednesday Prettie Challenge and blog hop! This week our challenge comes from Prettie Jackie! Jackie challenged us to make a spring break inspired card.
This week the design team will be using either the set Holy Mackerel or Surf's Up. These are both adorable sets and both stamp sets featured this week will be on sale for 35% off all week. Also be sure to check out the new digi stamp section of the boutique, Christie is adding new digis all the time (there are several adorable Sophia and Cooper digi stamps)!
I made a card with each of the featured sets this week. Holy Mackerel was a little difficult to use for a spring break inspired card but I decided to give it a try. I decided that spring break for some people tends to get crazy so I used some crazy Lime Rickey Basic Grey designer paper.
Surf's Up was MUCH easier to use with a spring break theme. I paired this adorable image with some fun surf themed DCWV designer paper. I loved how this card turned out.

TIOT: Emboss It!
This is my 2nd blog post for today. Please scroll down to see my Jacksonbelle Tuesday challenge card.
Welcome to this week's Try It Out Tuesday challenge! Our challenge this week is EMBOSSING!
We'd love for you to play along with us!
I know Easter is over but I couldn't resist using this adorable Elisabeth Bell "Bunnie" image for this week's challenge. I love this sweet image! I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copic markers. "Bunnie" is paired up with some gorgeous Prima flowers (purple and pink), Zva Creative flowers (white), Zva Creative rhinestone swirls and Basic Grey Kioshi designer paper, all of which can be found in the SCACD store. If you are wondering where my embossing is, I embossed the white cardstock panel with the Swiss Dots embossing folder.
Be sure to check out the blogs of the rest of the incredibly talented SCACD design team members for more embossing inspiration!

Jacksonbelle Tuesday Challenge!
Welcome to another fabulous Jacksonbelle Tuesday challenge! It's almost the most TAXING day of the year so in "celebration" of tax day our challenge this week is to make a card using taxes as your inspiration. For example ~ money, green, numbers...anything that represents your view of taxes. We'd love for you to play along. If you do be sure to leave us a link to your project in the the comments section of the challenge post on the JB blog or use keyword JBE101 when uploading to SCS or PCP.
Since I don't own a gigantic sad face stamp I had to go with my 2nd choice for what taxes represent to me, LOL. I decided to use green as my tax inspiration. For my card I paired up a Paper Makeup Stamps sentiment with some fabulous Basic Grey designer paper, Prima lace ribbon and some coordinating bling. I hate taxes but I do love how this card turned out.

LPS Monday Challenge!
Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! It is Monday so that means it is time for another AWESOME Little Paper Shop challenge! This week our challenge for you is to make a 3D item! We'd love for you to play along. If you do, be sure to leave a link to your project on the LPS blog.
One lucky participant in this week's challenge will win the new digi stamp {Ice Cream Tyson}. You have until Sunday night to get your project linked on the LPS blog!
If you have been a follower of my blog for a while you know that I pretty much suck at anything non-card. I almost cry every time I see a design team challenge for something non-card. Instead of completely stressing about this I decided to do something sweet and simple. A while back I found a bunch of these fun customizable key chains in the clearance bin at Michael's. I decided I would finally put one to use for today's challenge. I used the sets {Moments} and {Everyday}. It was really hard to get a good picture of this. It is actually very pretty in real life. I'm including this in my blog candy for a great cause giveaway. You still have a few more days to donate for your chance to win! Check out my blog candy post for all the details.
For more inspiration be sure to check out the blogs of the rest of the fabulous Little Paper Shop design team!
We also have 3 fabulous new guest designers joining us the next few months so be sure to stop by their blogs and give them some love:
