I made this card several months ago for my daughter's teacher.  {THANK YOU TEACHER SOPHIA} works great for teacher appreciation!  Definitely more clean and simple than I usually make, but I like how it turned out.

Paper Pretties Wednesday Challenge!

Happy Wednesday!  This week's Paper Pretties challenge is to make a Christmas card using non-traditional Christmas colors.  We'd love for you to play along.  If you do, be sure to leave a link to your project on the Paper Pretties blog!

Not very often do I make a card that I absolutely love...today is one of those rare days.  Everything about this card just fell together perfectly for me.  I don't usually go the non-traditional route but I really love the pinks and blues in this card!  I am actually not a fan of snowmen in general (They usually creep me out - I think it all comes from an episode of Scooby Doo where the snowmen come alive, LOL) but {FROSTY} is one snowman image that I think is totally adorable (nothing freaking me out about this guy, LOL).

I've had these fun pins that I picked up at the Target dollar spot forever ago...knowing that someday I would use them.  That day has finally come....I layered the pin over a Prima flower and some green glittery leaves that I picked up at Michael's after Christmas last year.  They made a great pairing with the DCWV green stack....and of course our fabulous {GIVE A HOOT} set!
