1-2-3 Jacksonbelle Challenge!

It is time for another Jacksonbelle Embellishements Tuesday challenge. This week is definitely a challenge. Our fellow JB design team member, Michelle, challenged us to a 1-2-3 challenge...1 stamp, 2 embellishements and 3 layers (the base layer is included in the 3). If you decide to play along with us, please use keyword JBE050 when you upload to SCS or PCP.

This was a MAJOR MAJOR challenge for me. To be totally honest I think my card sorta sucks but given the restrictions this was my best of 3 attempts - the other 2 ended up in the trash. To try and give the allusion of extra layers I sponged the edges of my Pink Paislee DP with dark brown ink. I don't know that this gave the look I was intending but I guess it helped. As for the the 2 embellishements, I interpreted this as 2 types so I used some ribbon and some Kaiser pearls. The stamp I used is from Inkadinkado.

Sorry the photo is at a weird angle. The sentiment and ribbon aren't really as crooked as they look in the photo.

This card is GORGEOUS! I LOVE that stamp and love the simple, elegant backdrop for it that you created-it really makes it "pop" as the focal point. So, so pretty!

Maybe it didn't turn out the way you envisioned it...but it really is wonderful. The DP gives it a vintage feel and the colors and pearls....very elegant!
Ya did good! :)

Heather, this would be a true challenge for me as well. I love to layer (and layer) my cards & ad ribbon & lots of metal, so I would have struggled with this as well. However, I think you did a fine job accomplishing the challenge! I love how you extended the ribbon off the page. I've never thought to do that!
