ScrapbookPal Design Team Entry

Welcome back! It has been a busy day here on the good old blog....this is my 4th post for today but I wanted to share a couple of projects that I made for the Scrapbookpal.com design team call with you. Be sure to scroll down to see my SCACD Try It Out Tuesday Card and my Jacksonbelle Tuesday challenge card!

When I saw that Scrapbookpal.com was having a design team call I couldn't resist applying. Scrapbookpal.com has a huge selection of awesome paper crafting supplies at awesome prices! As an extra added bonus they have free shipping when your order reaches $25!

For my first design team call entry I made a 12x12 scrapbook page. I am way way way behind on the kids' scrapbooks so it felt great to get a page done today! I used my new Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge to cut all of my letters out. I LOVE this new font cartridge! It has several awesome fonts all on one cartridge. The retail price for this cartridge is $89.99 but Scrapbookpal.com has it on sale right now for $29.99! I used some super fun boy themed Little Yellow Bicycle designer paper. I distressed the edges of the paper with my Tonic Tim Holtz paper distressor and then added some Tim Holtz Distress Ink to the edges. The entire page is glued together with my absolute favorite adhesive in the world....Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue. (Click on the photo for a closer view).
For the 3rd time this week I also used my favorite white Scrappers Floss and colored it with coordinating Copic markers for the Copic Creations Coloring other surfaces challenge.

For my 2nd design team entry project I decided to make a Halloween card (because I had orange cardstock left over from my sb page, LOL). I used a fun Halloween stamp set from Unity stamps. I stamped and colored my monster images and then cut them out using my small and large Circle Spellbinders Nestibilities. Once again I used my Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue to adhere all my layers and the googlie eyes. If you have never used the Mono Multi liquid glue I definitely recommend you try it out. You will NEVER EVER have a problem with your layers falling apart ever again!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have an awesome night! Be sure to check back tomorrow for the Paper Pretties Wednesday challenge!
