More challenge fun!

I'm on a challenge roll! Today I decided to play along with this week's Pink Elephant challenge which is to add green to your color combo. My color combo also fits in with this week's Try It Out Tuesday again (Pink, Sage and White). I used the sketch layout from Mercy's sketch (MTSC62) from last week (I'm a little late playing along but I really like last week's sketch).

For my card, I inked up another one of my brand new Elisabeth Bell stamps from SCACD. I absolutely LOVE these new Elisabeth Bell images! Today I used "New Friends". Isn't she just the sweetest image ever! You can purchase each of the new Elisabeth Bell images separately or you can buy the entire sheet of 7 stamps for an incredibly deal! I stamped my main image with Momento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copic markers. The image is cut out with my Spellbinders circle Nestibilities...(And speaking of Spellbinders....Susana has the NEW Spellbinders Nestibilities in stock- Her prices are the best around too!). I finished off my card with some self adhesive pearls from Kaisercraft.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have an absolutely wonderful weekend!

Paper Pretties March Release!

I hope everyone is having a great week! This week Paper Pretties released several new rubber and digi images. Today I'm giving you a sneak peak of the March Stamp of The Month. This stamp will be sent out to SOTM members this month and will be available in the Paper Pretties boutique to buy next month.
This new Sophia is just the cutest! The set is called "You're Maarvelous". This image totally reminds me of Annabelle. She is constantly dressing up...I'm talking like every single day, LOL. I had to add lots of glitter and some Sparkly Fluff to this cutie!

Try It Out Tuesday!!!!

This is my 2nd post for today. Please be sure to scroll down to see my card for the Jacksonbelle Tuesday challenge!

I have some SUPER EXCITING news to share today! A week or so ago I got an email from Susana, from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design, asking me if I would be interested in joining her design team for the next few months. I can't tell you how incredibly excited I was. I am completely in love with the GORGEOUS stamps Susana sells, as well as all of the other fabulous products in her store. It honestly took me about 2 seconds to make my decision!
Today is my first official Try It Out Tuesday as part of the SCACD design team and I am just absolutely giddy! This week's challenge {TIOT57} is a color challenge: Pink, Sage/Moss Green and White/Cream.

If you aren't familiar with SCACD I highly recommend you take a few minutes and browse through the store... you won't be disappointed!! Susana carries so many fabulous, top of the line products and her customer service is the best I've ever seen! For my card, I picked several of my favorite products from her store to use. Of coarse I just had to ink up one of SCACD's newly released Elisabeth Bell images. These new images are just incredible. This image is called "Oh Baby". Isn't she just the cutest thing ever! There were 7 new Elisabeth Bell images released and you can order them individually or you can order the entire Sampler Edition #3 collection for a fabulous discounted price! I also used some gorgeous new Prima flowers. Susana has a ton of the new Prima Innoscence flowers in stock. I LOVE these white flowers because they are completely customizable. You can leave them white, spray them with Shimmerz Spritz or Smooch Spritz, or you can even color them with Copic markers. I also used some of the pretty Prima mini roses. These are the perfect sized accent to go along with the bigger flowers. The gem accents in the corner are Kaiser self adhesive gems.

I also incorporated a couple other challenges into my card. My layout comes from this week's Taylored Expression sketch challenge and I also played along with the "It's All About Texture" challenge from Crazy 4 Challenges.
Be sure to check out the blogs of the rest of the incredibly talented SCACD design team members for more inspiration!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you all have an incredible day!

Anyway...The Our Craft Lounge blog has a new sketch challenge posted so I thought I would play along again this week.

Memories Of Time Sketch Challenge

I hope you are all having a wonderful day! I found a little time today to play along with the Memories of Time sketch challenge.

Here is the sketch:

I actually made 2 cards with this sketch. For the first card I flipped the sketch on its side. I used the super fun Our Craft Lounge set "Hangin Loose with Kona". The "Your Invited" sentiment is from DRS Designs. It is hard to tell in the picture but the rhinestones are actually red.

For my 2nd card I used one of the super adorable Victoria Case stamps from SCACD. I paired this up with a sentiment from Fiskars. I also added some Dress It Up glitter dots and Offray ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a terrific weekend!

Little bit of this....little bit of that...

TGIF! This is one week when I'm really glad it is Friday. The kids don't have school today so we are hanging out having a fun day at home. I'm hoping that means lots of stamping!

I have a bunch of little tidbits of information to pass on today!

First off...be sure to check out the Little Paper Shop blog for the Friday feature stamp set. This week there are some gorgeous creations made with the {Beautiful Things} stamp set from LPS. I just love this gorgeous set and the cards today are absolutely incredible!

Next...Jacksonbelle got in a ton of super cute new My Favorite Things stamp sets as well as a huge stock of GORGEOUS Zva Creative gems, pearls and flowers! There is also a pre-order going on for the new Stampavie Sarah Kay stamps which should be available early March. These new designs are completely adorable! While you are there, be sure to check out the super fab Making Memories Flutter designer paper collection! Oh, and all Stampavie stamps and Jenni Bowlin products are 30% right now too!

Also...have you been just dying to get your hands on the new Spellbinders nestibilities? Susana's Custom Art and Card Design (SCACD) has them in stock right now! The SCACD prices are the best around too! I just ordered some a few days ago. I can't wait for them to arrive so I can start playing! While you are there, check out the INCREDIBLE new Elisabeth Bell stamps! They are GORGEOUS!

Finally....I stamped for fun...AGAIN!
This time I decided to play along with the Pink Elephant sketch challenge for this week.
Here is the sketch:

For my card I used one of the new Elisabeth Bell stamps from SCACD. I have been on a self imposed craft spending freeze since before Christmas but the second I saw the new Elisabeth Bell images at SCACD I just had to splurge a little. I used the "Winter Susan" image for my card. I just LOVE her...that hat is to die for!
Supplies used: Stamp from SCACD, PTI cardstock, SEI and Memory Box designer paper, Prima flowers, Kaiser brad, Fiskars border punch, Copic markers, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Dress it Up glitter dots.

Oh...and 1 more thing...Prima is giving away an amazing prize pack...check out their blog HERE to see it!

More Our Craft Lounge Fun!

I had so much fun making my Our Craft Lounge snowman card the other day that I thought I would play along with their sketch challenge one more time.

This time I flipped the sketch on its side. I used the super fun Dino-mite set from OCL. I paired this cute guy up with some Basic Grey Archaic designer paper...I am definitely going to need more Archaic because it works great with these images! Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a terrific weekend!

A Prettie Preview!

It's Prettie Preview time. The newest rubber and digi stamps will hit the Paper Pretties boutique on March 1st. The design team is giving some fabulous sneak peaks of the new images all week long.
Today I am previewing one of the new digi stamps being released.
I thought the gorgeous sunflowers in this image went great with the Basic Grey Indian Summer designer paper. I printed the image twice and cut out one of the butterfly wings to layer over the other image for a 3-D effect. The images are colored with Copic markers. I also added glitter to the butterfly wings to give them a shimmery look.
Be sure to check out the blogs of Christie and Jennifer for more fabulous sneak peaks!

Paper Pretties Wednesday Challenge and a Blog Hop!

It's Wednesday! That means it is time for another fun Wednesday Prettie Challenge and blog hop! This week I got to pick the challenge. My challenge for everyone is to use some type of embossing on your project!

This week the design team will be using either the set Apple of My Eye or Apple of My Eye Scripture. Both stamp sets featured this week will be on sale for 20% off all week. Also be sure to check out the new digi stamp section of the boutique, Christie is adding new digis all the time!

I don't say this very often, but I love how my card turned out this week. This is the same layout as I used on my card that I posted on Monday. I just really like how well this layout works with sentiments (it won't be the last time you see this layout from me, LOL). This card is really beautiful in real life! I used the Apple of My Eye Scripture and paired it up with some Cosmo Cricket designer paper and flowers from Prima and Zva Creative. I used the Victoria Cuttlebug embossing folder.

If you are just starting at my blog, head on over to Christie's blog to start from the beginning. You definitely won't want to miss any of the stops! If you are following the hop, the next stop after my blog is the blog of Prettie Girl Wendy Bond!
