DRS Blog Challenge #23!

Welcome to another DRS Designs Blog challenge...this week the DT was challenged to make a buckle card. You can find a tutorial on how to make these great looking and easy cards HERE on SCS.

We would love for you to play along with the challenge. Post a direct link to your creation in the comment section of the challenge post on the DRS blog so we can check it out! If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword, DRSC23.

Before this challenge, I had never made a buckle card...ever! The tutorial on SCS is really easy to follow. I was a little worried about my card being too simple, but in the end I actually LOVE how it turned out! The flower background is a small stamp that I stamped over and over. I colored the flowers with my Copic and Prismacolor markers and added SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the white flowers. The large red flower is a Prima flower that I folded in half and added a coordinating button. The card is actually really beautiful in real life (the photo just doesn't do it justice).
Supplies used: All stamps are from DRS Designs, SU cardstock, SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter, SU button, Prima flower, Copic and Prismacolor markers, SU word window punch.

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to check out the DRS Designs blog for some more fabulous buckle cards made by the DRS design team.
